No privacy for the super rich, including and especially royal families. It’s nothing personal; just means testing to make sure they are living responsibly on our tax money.

Okay okay okay just stop. Be serious. Do people really want the All-Star game to be serious and competitive? Really? Why?

There’s already 82 competitive regular season games. Why can’t the All-Star Game just be for fun? To see the players have fun? That seems like a really rare gift to me.

​So, the league is negotiating new TV deals and for this (like a mazillion, gorillion, money-isn’t-even-real imaginary dollars) they want to be able to say the All-Star games will be more competitive. Once they negotiate a 10-year monster contract, the games will be whatever the games are. But right now, Silver was up everybody’s ass to put on appearances.

Players don’t want the All-Star Game to be more competitive, because All Star Week is when you chill, relax your brain, and heal nagging injuries. It’s for fun. Everybody says they love street ball until they get to watch the best ballers in the world do it and then they want those guys to get serious? I don’t buy it.

I was thinking that, after I write my fanfic episode guide to “Now You’re Talking,” TG4 should promote it and the show as a great resource for beginning learners, and good way to do that would be to make t shirts and other swag with subtitled stills from the show.
